Frequently Asked Questions

Will you be able to do photos and video at the same time?
In most instances we prefer to do one or the other. Since we are a team, we can arrange it where there is only one videographer and one photographer if it is required.

What is included with a video booking?
Our video packages vary depending on what your end result requires. Every package includes filming, editing, and promotional materials.

I really like this videographer’s video, can you recreate it?
It is our standard practice that we do not want to emulate other artists. However, we are influenced by everyone. If the inspiration for your video is a certain style or look or feel, we will try and recreate it with our own spin as much as possible.

What’s your deposit policy and how do I book?
Deposits are normally 50% , with the balance being paid before the shoot or upon completion of the shoot, but no later than the end of the day of the final shoot.
This is to protect our company and brand as much as it is to protect you. We are not in this business to deceive or swindle. Please see our terms below.
If you book a date with us, we expect you to honor that date. Any rescheduling of confirmed dates needs to be given in writing 7 days in advance unless in the event of an extreme family emergency.

If you would like to book us, please read through the rest of this page, fill out the questionnaire, and email us at for available dates and deposit info.

Do we get all the RAW footage?
We do not typically provide the RAW footage to our clients, but if you would like a thumb drive with the RAW files, we can and will do that for a nominal fee.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Sometimes. It really depends on the location and our workload and the events involved. Rest assured, if you book us for a day, you will get our full, undivided attention for the duration of your shoot. We may be more inclined to leave in a hurry if we are booked at another shoot after we wrap, but the best way to find out is just ask. We enjoy hanging out with all of our clients after the shoot but sometimes life happens.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
We have backups and we have a backup for our backups. We will be prepared for the worst.

What kind of equipment do you bring with you on the day-of?
We bring everything that we will need to shoot which includes cameras, lenses, laptops, external hard drives, SD cards, batteries, lights, and any other special fx that may be needed for the shoot.

Do you bring back-up equipment in case of malfunction?
Absolutely. And we bring a back up for our back ups. We are always prepared but things do happen.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Any extra filming or shots that are done after hours will be discussed on a per case basis. There will be a charge. However, a quick picture under different lighting is a lot different than re-filming an entire video in a different location. Please understand this before asking.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require the client provide your meal?
We try and keep breaks to a minimum. We prefer to take a 30-45 min food break per each 8 hour session. It is not required that you provide us with a meal, but we won't turn it down! It is difficult to lug food and drinks around with all our extra gear, but we will never expect you to provide our meals for us.

Do you charge for travel?
We do charge a travel fee for anything over 100 miles outside of where we live, as well as extra for lodging. These are included in your total price. We do not look to stay in 5 star hotels. Everything we do is with a strict budget in mind.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
We contractually allow up to 45 days but aim for 2-4 weeks. Good things are worth the wait.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
We do retain copyright for self promotional reasons. The copyright is shared with you via a signed licensing agreement so that you may print for personal use wherever you like. We use the images on our blog and website to promote our ability to serve others.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, I do reserve the right to publish and self promote with your images. In rare cases when a couple doesn’t want to be published I honor that. Just ask. There may be a non-disclosure fee associated.
